Here is Trouble & Bass' Smash Cast!!!

DEATHFACE is the hive mind entity created by Johnny Love of Guns ‘N’ Bombs. It is the product of locking a group of sociopathic misanthropes into a basement studio with a supply of high-powered hallucinogenic substances and a pile of heavy bassline, dubstep and mid-West breakcore. DEATHFACE is the sound of a sonic teenage ear beating.

SUPPORT FOR DEATHFACE TRACKS FROM: Laidback Luke, Crookers, Alec Empire, Drop The Lime, Diplo, Brodinski, Kissy Sell Out, Crystal Castles, Hearts Revolution, AutoKratz, Passions/Mathhead, Congorock.

PRESS AND BLOG LOVE FOR DEATHFACE

Deathface is from Brooklyn New York...put this kid on before The Prodigy and they'll find any excuse not to go on...Deathface transports hardcore rave into the next decade. Adrenaline driven.... and trust me when I say this, it's not some paid for opinion that is included in some marketing budget. He has no record deal but remixed autoKratz. Awesome & dangerous....
ALEC EMPIRE

Keep an eye out and ear open for this dude, he’s making some of the hardest stuff we’ve heard out of the stateside scene and plenty of people are taking notice…
MAD DECENT

The first phoenix has risen out of the ashes of Guns n Bombs, Deathface, a musical war zone of twisted metal, blips, breaks and subterranean dubstep. Formerly known as Johnny Love, Deathface makes angry rave and electro fueled dubstep that’ll put blisters on your feet and quite possibly your brain.
3-D WORLD, SYDNEY

The sound is truly unique incorporating dubstep, rave, electro, big room, and metal. One tune will sound like Doormouse meets Tittsworth and the next is like High Rankin meets Steve Angello.
TRASH MENAGERIE

We're pretty blown away by the [The Blood Has Run Black] mix as it shows the same knack for explosive bangers that we heard with Guns N' Bombs as well as plenty of wobbly, bottomed-out bass turns. Real tasty.
INTHEMIX, AUSTRALIA

It’s a no hold’s barred take on Dubstep filled with head banging bass like Rusko, Caspa and Bar9 but with a heavy influence of Electro. It’s raw, it’s fun, very mischievous and it takes no prisoners.
HOT BISCUITS
There is no preparing you for the onslaught that is Deathface. Just download the [The Blood Has Run Black] mix and prepare to have your head blown off by the most psychotic death bass bangers you ever heard smash through your speakers.
PHREE DRUGS

...the music [Johnny] is making currently is more exciting than any of his previous endeavors. Deathface’s production sound definitely falls into the ravestep/dubstep category and is as dark and heavy as a satanic baby sacrifice.
NOISE PORN

Originally a track by Mexican Institute of Sound, Deathface gives “Cumbia” a complete transformation. He kills something that was once very much alive; the funeral takes place next Friday. It is the shitz.

GUNS ‘N’ BOMBS PRESS

LA's New Robotics: L.A. Riots, Guns N Bombs, Caxsio and Others Are Revolutionizing the City's Dance Clubs
Screw the hazy, lazy indie-rock tunes of Silver Lake; the biggest L.A. revolution is happening in the clubs
…. Guns N Bombs, for one, has 20 album-ready tracks in its vault. And with singles out on Kitsuné, Digitalism's French label, the duo of 31-year-old Filip "Turbotito" Nikolic and 25-year-old Johnny "Love" Dal Santo seem poised to break through. At its foam-lined warehouse-loft studio, a stone's throw from the L.A. River downtown, the pair presses play on "Riddle of Steel," due next month via Kitsuné. It's an improvised exploding device full of punk like energy. Trunk-busting bass lines and acidic squelches take over, leading to a drum roll worthy of the Love Parade. Needless to say, the guys think theirs is the sound of success, if only they continue heading back to the future….
LA Weekly

L.A. production tandem Guns N Bombs beat the bloghaus types to the punch by signing with trés chic French label Kitsuné late in 2006 (and on a MySpace message no less). Their rip snorting "Nothing Is Getting Us Anywhere" shredded U.S. dancefloors throughout 2007, with its desperate robot vocals and a sawtooth router bit. Formed by Ima Robot bassist Filip Turbotito and Chicago DJ Johnny Love, they have already remixed tracks from Klaxons and Chromeo. A forthcoming album, not picked up by a label so far, should make a serious impact on the culture of U.S.-bred dance music. Of course, neither Love nor Turbotito were born inside our borders (Italy and Denmark, respectively).
Pitchfork Media

Unpretentious and unforgivingly badass, L.A.'s Guns 'n' Bombs (including an Ima Robot member) single-handedly put the United States outside New York back on my techno map, blow current German electro standards out of the water and give Paris's New French Touch a run for its money.

U FEEL BASS U Don't Hear It

We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams;—
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
Of the world for ever, it seems. -Arthur O'Shaughnessy
